I have always found Isadora Duncan to be very interesting. Someone so uninhibited and so so different from me. I am sure the other meetings would be just as intriguing.TracyKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08303342674824383688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6129427507761315524.post-26351660286412929732016-10-03T22:11:01.476+01:002016-10-03T22:11:01.476+01:00Good. I found some of the quibbles quite bizarre. Like the person who seems to think it's the book's fault they weren't entirely familiar with everyone who appears. As for saying it has "a slightly cynical, bitchy perspective" - well, you could describe it like that, yes. I don't think that's a bad thing, myself, as long as you're not someone's boss writing their annual report. Wonderful stuff about Helen Keller, and Mark Twain, and about them together.

As for ID - yes, fascinating. But I'm always a bit startled when I see her face and she's not Vanessa Redgrave. I always liked the way she lived her life on her own terms. The structure of the book sounds good, too; a series of stories can really keep the pace going. Thanks, both, for a great post.
